Papillon Potpourri 2

Hello Crafters

This is one of the cards that the Ladies will be making in my card class next month

Aren't these little butterfly's delightful!

For the people that do not know me, I do love my butterflies although they are normally pink!!!! And please note there is not a pink one in sight (unlike my blog on 17 January)!

The Very Vanilla butterfly has been clear embossed as the pattern did not stand out.

All the butterflies are from the Papillion Potpourri stamp set and were punched out using the punch this time, as Lynney, my friend, howled with laughter when she found out I had actually been cutting them all by hand :-)

Please let me know what you think.

Tea Shoppe

Hello Crafters

I was obviously having a tea cup sort of day.  Lots of tea, with cake or chocolate.  Now tell me you don't have days like that!

The only trouble is when crafting I have difficulty keeping the chocolate off the cards!!!!! (what do you mean I'm not suppose to eat and craft!).

Thank you for looking at my blog.

Wedding Words

Hello Crafters

This card was made for my boss and his wife to be as an acceptance to their forthcoming wedding.

You might not be able to see the sparkle I put on the ring but to be truthful I think it should have been bigger :-)

Trouble is what do I create for their wedding card!

Thank you for looking at my blog.

Daydream Medallions

Hello Crafters

I had to blog today as my Aunt in Canada is going to be logging in to have a look at the card I am posting (see I told you I'd tell everyone!).
I made this card for my friend Susan who had taken a fall down the stairs and had injured her foot.

She has a few weeks to heal as she flys to Nepal in 4 weeks time :-)

I have never used Daydream Medallions but thought I would give it a go.

Thank you for looking at my blog.

Colour Refresh

Hello Crafters

Stampin Up are refreshing the colours and colour families :-)

This means that we still keep the Brights, Subtles, Regals and Neutrals but just replacing or moving them around so they fit better within their families.

This list below lets you know what colours are going where, what we are keeping and what we are losing and most importantly what new ones we will be having in the new catalogue.  With names likes Bermuda Bay, Soft Sky, Crushed Curry and Smokey Slate they sound so nice, so looking forward to seeing them in the flesh so to speak.

So from the 1st July 2013 the NEW COLOURS will be available and the retired colours (inks, papers, ribbons, brads etc.) will only be available whilst stock last, so if you have some favourites, it may be worth stocking up.

Thank you for looking at my blog.
