Old Project Life Christmas

Hello Crafters, 

Using the Memories and More, Merry Little Christmas pack made me get out my old Project Life kits and create a few more Christmas cards.

As I make more cards then I could every use, I will give all these to charity next year as it will be too late for this year.

But as you can see I have been branching out to bigger cards, more issues for me as I see too much space to fill but I think I am mastering it.

Last Merry Little Christmas post 7

More Merry Little Christmas part 5

With 72 cards in a pack you can make loads of cards out of them, this is part 5 and there are more to go. 

I still love the fact that you can colour in the jewels with the Stampin' Up! Blender pens and make them into Holly berries.

More Merry Little Christmas part 4

Hello Crafters,

I hope you realise I have more of these cards left to make cards out of. 

These cards got my sparkles.  I coloured the rhinestones gems with the dark cherry cobbler stampin' blend marker to make the Holly berries on the first card.  And I also used the same pen to colour the white ribbon (I got a couple of cherry cobbler fingers in the process).

On Stage Event

Hello Crafters,

On Saturday I attended the Stampin' Up! On Stage event in Solihull.  I was in the company of some lovely ladies and had a lovely time (having my sister Suezan Brain lose her very brave battle to brain cancer last month, I needed a pick up).

There were lots of Awards and there were several Pinkie that stole the show.

Just for attending I received a bag and some free stamp sets, which i will be showing off next week.

So these are my take using the Delightful Daisy dsp and a thinlet I had.

Stitching Kit Christmas Cards

Hello Crafters,

I brought a retired stitching kit from Stampin' Up! for £8.70 which makes 18 Christmas cards. I did not have the original stamps they used on the kit but found few of mine that fitted.

The cards above are the cards you make from the kit. But you know me not wanting to waste anything.

These two cards I made by cutting around the waste trees and stars after your pressed thm out fir the originsl cards.  You only get 6 flags and an extra two banners but I cut my on and they look ok. So I managed to make another 12 tree cards and 6 star cards.

But then you get 18 envelope inserts, I do not put inserts in my envelopes so they became card fronts.  And I made another 18 cards.

So all in all 54 cards made out of a pack for 18 cards and all for under a tenner.

I still have a couple of the kits left if anyone would like to buy one.

Silver Foil

Hello Crafters,

Well as I had the embosing folders out I thought I would have a play with some silver foil.

If you have thin foil back it with a piece of card so that the foil does not rip. Yep I did manage to do that so pinched some out the kitcen which was thicker which worked better. 

I went over the leaves folder with embossing ink and black embossing powder.
